Saras is Schooner and Milly’s (Can Ch Aarion Emily Carr) son. Born March 13, 2006, he is training in Water Work, Obedience and Agility.He finished his Canadian Championship with a Best Puppy in Group at 9 months. In 2008 Saras showed in the U.S. quickly finishing his American Kennel Club Championship with a 3 point major win at the Ladies Dog Club Show under Judge Betty Leininger in May. In 2009 in May, Saras started to show in Canada.
In 2009 Saras was number 3 PWD, number 1 PWD male in Canada with 2 Group 1 placements at the Manitoba Canine Association Show under Judge Edd Bivin and Judge Michael Woods, 2 Group 2 placements, 3 Group 3 finishes, 1 Group 4, multiple BB and BOS placements. Saras went Best of Breed at the PWDCC Regional Specialty Booster and Best of Opposite Sex at the Regional Specialty the next day.
In 2010 Saras enjoyed a more relaxed 2nd year campaigning, and finished again top male PWD, and No.5 in breed. Thank you to the judges who recognized Saras: Group 1, Virginia Lyne and Joe Tacker; Group 2, Jean Fournier, Sean Shields, Sue Ellyn Remple and Cheryl Patterson, Group 4, Mike McBeth, Michael Lanctot, Phyllis Wolfish and Len Harfield. Saras is now relaxing at home enjoying the good life and thanks his pal Kim Wendling for always presenting Saras at his best.
Saras has a sweet playful temperament, always ready to play at retrieving, he is the clown of the pack and LouLou’s favourite pal. Saras is a black wavy, with a large white chest and paw tips. 22 1/4 in. tall, 56lb.
